I like copying the styles of cartoonists I enjoy

If you've never checked out John Campbell (
stereotypist) you should.

I used to think finding the last person you want to be with meant you stopped getting to fall in love.
But really, you just fall in love every day, over and over again, for the rest of your life.
I can't find the study, but I heard that brain images of people in long-term satisfying relationships are the same when they are initially falling in love as they are 20 years on. That feels about right.

I liked Watchmen. If you read the book and liked it, you'll like it. If you don't, then you're being too picky. If you didn't like the book, stay away. If you don't want to read it, you might not want to bother unless you like Frank Miller-esque (yes, I know it isn't Frank Miller, but not as many people are familiar with Alan Moore) comic book violence and can handle seeing a bunch of characters you've never seen before. I saw someone describe it as a "companion" to the book, and I think it fits that perfectly.
To those who complain Ozymandias looks too gay--yes, he's a bit of a fruit, but it works. He's drawn as smarter and a better fighter than any of the other characters. Making him look Adonislike would be going to far.
To those who complain that the music is distracting--hell, I love the music of that era. It makes a lot more sense than boring, stereotypical superhero soundtracks do.
To those who complain about the end--seriously, the squid was bordering on absurd in the book even with all the exposition. There's no way they could put it in the movie and have it be anything but laughable. The important effect was the same.
To those who complain about the male genitalia--grow the fuck up. The number of giggles in the theater every time Dr. Manhattan turned around was really sad.
Basically, if you like comic books, go read Watchmen. If you like it, then go watch the movie.
